Dylon Wetzel

“Renewable energy is important to me because it’s something that I am passionate about. To see Florida transition would be a dream come true because I’ve studied it for so long. Renewable energy would boost the reputation of Florida and have it considered as a leader. Also, it would open up new jobs. There should be a commitment to 100% renewable energy because it is what’s best for the environment. UF is around state preserves such as Paynes Prairie. A transition to 100% renewable energy will allow us to enjoy these natural spots longer.”

Dylon Wetzel is a freshman at the University of Florida. He is an APK student with a specialization in exercise physiology and wants to go to medical school to become an internal medicine physician.
