Lindsey Meyer

“I think what 100% renewable energy means moving away from fossil fuels completely. They are not sustainable and with the increasing technology in the world today there really is not a need to continue to use these resources that have such a negative impact on our planet present and the future. Renewable energy really is focusing the efforts on using the natural resources, such as wind, solar, and water. For example, living in Florida where we are known as the sunshine state we have the ability to implement the use of solar technology and we really should be focusing on that.”

Lindsey Meyer is a St. Petersburg native. She just recently graduated USF with her Bachelor’s in Environmental Science and Policy also receiving a concentration in Policy. Living in Florida for her whole life has seen the need to transition to this 100% renewable energy.
